The woman who says she was assaulted by Reuben Foster on multiple occasions opened up about her traumatic experiences in an interview that aired on Thursday, and she revealed some troubling information about the San Francisco 49ers’ involvement in the latest incident.

In an interview with ABC News, 28-year-old Elissa Ennis admitted that she lied back in May when she recanted her domestic violence allegations against Foster and claimed her injuries were sustained in a fight with another woman. She said she changed her story because “love will have you doing things that’s not in your best interest for the person you love.” The charges against Foster were eventually dropped.
