While Aaron Hernandez sits in a jail cell awaiting the trial he'll face for the alleged murder of Odin Lloyd, the former Patriots tight end and his representatives are still trying to collect the money they believe New England owes him. In October, the NFLPA filed two grievances to get the Patriots to pay Hernandez's salary from 2013 and 2014 (worth about $3 million) and the $3.25 million signing bonus he was due to receive next March. This week, though, Lloyd's family filed a wrongful death suit against Hernandez, and it's asking a judge to grant a restraining order that would prevent the Patriots from paying out any money to Hernandez, according to the Fall River (Mass.) Herald News.
