Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho want to raid the Portuguese manager’s old side Real Madrid for attacker Lucas Vazquez this summer – at a cut-price £15.5million.

Three-time Champions League winner Vazquez, 28, has fallen down the pecking order somewhat this season – behind the likes of Eden Hazard, Vinicius Junior, Gareth Bale, Isco, Marco Asensio and others.

He has managed just 18 appearances this season, 10 of which have been from the bench. The nine-time Spain international has now entered the final 12 months of his contract, after 201 appearances with the Spanish giants.

The report claims Spurs are ready to offer Vazquez the chance to shine in the Premier League, and are ready to pay £15.5million. However, it is believed Real value Vazquez at £23million. He is keen on a move to England, though.
