Phoenix Suns officials traveled to Lubbock, Texas for a private workout with Texas Tech guard Jarrett Culver, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

In two seasons with the Red Raiders, Culver averaged 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists. He exploded onto the draft scene with a dominant sophomore season, averaging 18.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game as Texas Tech made it all the way to the national title game before losing to Virginia.

Last season was another disappointing outing for the Suns, who finished with a 19-63 record. The team fired head coach Igor Kokoskov and replaced him with Monty Williams.
