Pro Football Talk is reporting that there’s “some chatter on the league grapevine tonight about a possible Frank Clark trade.”
Citing a league source, Florio reports that several teams called the Seahawks about trading for Clark last year, and they called again before 2019 free agency.
Florio adds that a potential Clark trade could be tied to the team’s effort to sign QB Russell Wilson to a long-term deal before his Monday deadline.
Clark has come up as a possible trade candidate, despite the fact that the Seahawks used their franchise tag on him last month.
Last week, multiple league sources told Matt Verderame of Fansided that they believe the Seahawks are open to trade offers for Clark. Verderame adds that any trade offer for Clark would have to include a second-round pick as a starting point for the Seahawks to consider making the move.
