The Indiana Pacers will host the 2021 NBA All-Star Game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. This will mark the first time Indiana has hosted the event since 1985, when the game was held at the Hoosier Dome. Overall, Indiana has hosted the All-Star Game twice. The state hosted the third NBA All-Star Game ever played at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum back in 1953. That also represents the lowest-scoring All-Star Game in history, as the Western Conference defeated the Eastern Conference by a modest score of 79-75. The 2018 event will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which has monopolized All-Star weekend over the last decade and a half. This will mark the third time Tinseltown has hosted the event since 2004. It most recently held the All-Star Game in 2011.
