Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett and his teammates may have to find a different way to protest racial inequality in 2018. According to ESPN's Jim Trotter, the NFL plans to keep all players in the locker room during the playing of the national anthem next season, which would the players opportunity to demonstrate during the anthem. The demonstrations in 2017 led to much debate outside of the NFL and even inside where the players met with the owners but could never come to resolution on the issue that met everyone's standards. Now, with some players still demonstrating, the league may take matters into their own hands.
