Now that LeBron James is on the Los Angeles Lakers, executives around the league believe the Clippers have become a more attractive free agent spot for superstar players, according to Howard Beck of Bleacher Report.

Toronto Raptors small forward Kawhi Leonard can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2019, and numerous reports have stated that if he leaves the Raptors, he’d prefer to join the Clippers to avoid living in the shadow of James.

Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Jimmy Butler, who has requested a trade, reportedly listed the Clippers as one of the teams he wants to be traded to. Reports also stated Butler doesn’t want to play for the Lakers for the same reason as Leonard.
