According to VG in Norway, Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi is returning to Celtic for another year, picking them over Real Betis.
It’s claimed that Elyounoussi spent the weekend deciding between the two clubs, and has made his choice; he will return to Celtic for another year.
The report states that Elyounoussi and his family are happy in Glasgow, and that’s part of the reason why he has decided to re-join Celtic again.
The final details are still to be completed, but it looks like Celtic have secured another loan deal for the Norwegian wide man despite that rival interest from Betis.
Elyounoussi, 25, joined Southampton for a huge £16million fee in 2018, but struggled to really make an impact before Ralph Hasenhuttl farmed him out to Celtic.
