Milan could reportedly send Gonzalo Higuain back to Juventus next summer on economic grounds.

According to Corriere dello Sport, ‘the odds are higher’ on Higuain leaving Milan at the end of the season than vice versa.

The Rossoneri paid Juve €18m to sign Pipita on loan over the summer and agreed a €36m option to buy.

However, because his contract at San Siro would tie him until 2021, the newspaper claims the Diavolo would take a €37m hit to their budget.
