The coaching carousel is in motion around the NBA, and one member of the Boston Celtics staff is being mentioned in talks of a vacant job north of the border. Celtics assistant coach and former NBA guard Tyronn Lue is reportedly on the Toronto Raptors radar, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. On Wednesday Wojnarowski tweeted that Lue and Rio Grande Valley Vipers (NBA Development League) head coach Nick Nurse are candidates for the Raptors assistant coaching job. Lue joined the Celtics staff in 2009 as Director of Basketball Development following an 11-season career in the NBA. He was promoted to assistant coach in 2011. The 36-year-old is popular among players and coaches alike, and last July he coached the Celtics summer league team. "Doc Rivers and Celtics are big believers in Lue, and hard to imagine they'll let him leave without offering a promotion to bench assistant," Wojnarowski tweeted.
