Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette is expected to play during his team’s Week 7 matchup against the rival Indianapolis Colts despite suffering a foot injury against the Los Angeles Rams, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Fournette left the Week 6 matchup against the Rams in the fourth quarter with a sprained ankle and did not return. However, the FOX broadcast did announce that Fournette could have returned, but with the Jaguars trailing 27-17 and the clock winding down, it seemed pointless and just too risky in the end. Fournette tested the ankle out by jogging on the sideline and did appear to be good to go. Nonetheless, the 22-year-old is enjoying a very impressive rookie campaign.
