The Los Angeles Lakers are unusual as far as teams with top draft picks go. They have real championship aspirations for next season and a 34-year-old superstar that won't be able to get them there for much longer. While most teams love the idea of adding top young prospects, the Lakers simply don't have the time to develop them on James' schedule. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that Chris Haynes of Yahoo, among many other reporters, expects the Lakers to trade the No. 4 overall pick.

While some of this is based on what Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka said after winning the pick, most of it is grounded in common sense. The Lakers certainly wouldn't turn down a 19-year-old star, but they're more interested in 29-year-old stars right now.
