The New York Knicks are reportedly shopping forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas in order to make room for veteran big man Joakim Noah, who will be returning from a 20-game suspension next week, according to Ian Begley of ESPN. The NBA originally banned Noah for 20 games due to a violation of the league’s anti-drug policy. The Knicks currently have 15 players on guaranteed contracts, so the Eastern Conference franchise would need to move someone in order to clear a spot for Noah. As a result, it appears as though Kuzminskas could ultimately be the odd man out. The 28-year-old has not played in a single game this season, as he has fallen behind on the depth chart after playing a pivotal role in New York’s rotation a year ago.
