In a blockbuster trade on Monday, the Detroit Pistons acquired Blake Griffin from the Los Angels Clippers. The trade seemed to come out of nowhere but the Pistons were reportedly targeting Griffin for quite some time. And interestingly enough, if they weren't able to acquire the five-time All-Star forward, Detroit reportedly had a backup plan that centered around Kevin Love. According to Sports Illustrated's Jake Fisher, Detroit was hyper focused on acquiring Griffin but were also considering trading for Love.
