The Philadelphia Eagles have an abundance of talent at defensive back, a surprising development of the 2017 season that helped the defense become of top-5 unit in the NFL and the the league's most dominant defense at home. One of those defensive backs could be on the move. ESPN's Chris Mortensen told 97.5 The Fanatic that he expects the Eagles will move one of those defensive backs for a draft pick. "I will be surprised if the Eagles do not have a 3rd round pick." Mortensen said. "You know that the Eagles are heavy in defensive backs. I believe one of those defensive backs will be moved." Clearly, the Eagles value having a Day 2 draft pick and believe going from No. 32 to No. 131 (a 99-pick gap) is too steep to get anything done in the draft to improve their roster. Philadelphia would rather have that Day 2 pick and find a player that can contribute to its roster in 2018 and beyond.
