The Denver Nuggets have had conversations with the Phoenix Suns, offering point guard Emmanuel Mudiay and other pieces for their own point man Eric Bledsoe, according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders. The Nuggets seem to have committed to Jamal Murray running the point moving forward, as Mudiay has shown a propensity to mishandle the ball, as reflected by its tendencies to turn the ball over. Besides, Mudiay’s proven to be an under-40-percent shooter and a below-average free-throw shooter, a package that his size and sheer athleticism simply can’t make up for. While Murray has proven to be dangerous from deep, he has yet to develop consistency or gain the feel for the point guard position after playing as a shooting guard for most of his playing career.
