Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams exited the team’s Thursday night win over the Chicago Bears after taking a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit, but the latest update is encouraging. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the wide receiver is in the hospital with a concussion but appears to have avoided another major injury. That’s great news for Adams, whose mouthpiece flew into the air because of Danny Trevathan’s hit. Adams left on a gurney, and medical personnel took him to the hospital. After the contest, per Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune, Trevathan said he regretted the level at which he hit Adams.
