The connection between Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and wide receiver Michael Crabtree has seemingly been strong since the two teamed up before the 2015 NFL season. Not only have there been plenty of times where you can catch these two joking around or hanging out before, after or even during practices, but their connection on the field has been impressive as well. Crabtree is unquestionably Carr's favorite red zone target, and the wideout's 25 touchdowns over the past three seasons are proof of that. But, the 2017 season was a frustrating one for the Raiders, and their offense specifically. Apparently, the frustration got so bad that it wound up impacting Carr and Crabtree's relationship. As The Athletic's Vic Tafur reported (courtesy of Raiders Beat), the duo actually went through a time when they weren't talking to each other.
