With the injury-riddled 2017 NFL season finally coming to an end, it seems the Washington Redskins have already started to shift gears toward the offseason. Unfortunately for the Redskins, it holds much more questions than answers as of right now. However, the one thing they are sure of is head coach Jay Gruden. Despite the disappointing year, Washington has no intention of parting ways with Gruden, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Although the Redskins suffered through a disappointing year, they have still managed to conjure up a respectable 7-8 record going into the season finale versus the New York Giants after winning their last two games. While it may have been too little too late for Washington, it at least showed signs of promise for next year. Part of the reason for the team’s high expectations is largely because of what Gruden has done since coming over from the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014.
