Jordan Reed’s promising rookie season has been seriously short-circuited by a concussion he suffered during the Redskins’ Week 11 game against the Eagles. The injury will cost him a fourth straight game on Sunday. According to an ESPN 980 report, Reed will not play tomorrow when the Redskins visit the Falcons. It appears that he was unable to pass a concussion test that was scheduled for today and league rules—and common sense—prohibit Reed from playing. It looked like Reed was going to be able to go for the Redskins’ Sunday night game against the Giants but he developed a headache in the afternoon prior to the game and he was inactive. The team’s third-round pick in this year’s draft was unable to practice this week and was listed as questionable on this week’s injury report.
