Catcher Ryan Hanigan’s hitting sessions have gone OK for two days. Not pain-free but OK. Hanigan on the disabled list since July 11 with a strained left wrist thinks he’s going to deal with the soreness. “The strength is there” he said. “It’s still a little bit sore. But it’s not too bad.” Hanigan said the wrist only bothers him when he’s hitting: “I’ve done everything I can to keep it loose. I haven’t gone all out yet.” Hanigan hit off Jonathan Broxton Saturday. “It was more to see pitches than swing” Reds manager Dusty Baker said.
