The Red Sox and Phillies have continued their interest in free agent first baseman Carlos Santana this offseason, according to Fox Sports. Santana had a .259/.363/.455 slash line last season — which was virtually similar to his 2016 numbers — while also hitting 23 home runs with 79 RBIs. A former catcher, Santana could play first base or designated hitter.
