Real Madrid have decided to go after the signing of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the next transfer window, according to a report from French newspaper L’Equipe. Pogba’s contract with United expires in 2021 and that would give Madrid some kind of edge if they truly want to sign the midfielder, who is a priority for coach Zinedine Zidane.

On the other hand, Madrid have put on hold the talks for Stade Rennais’ Eduardo Camavinga, per that same report. The young and talented central midfielder will stay in his club for at least one more season and Los Blancos will pay close attention to his performances next year. Right now, Madrid are not willing to spend €80 million on Camavinga and that’s the main reason why Los Blancos seem to be focusing on Pogba.
