Real Madrid are interested in the signing of Peñarol midfielder Facundo Pellistri, according to a report from Spanish newspaper AS. Madrid’s head scout Juni Calafat are closely monitoring his recent performances and other clubs like Manchester City, Atletico de Madrid or Valencia seem to be after the young midfielder, per that same report.

Apparently, Pellistri has an affordable €11 million release clause on his contract with Peñarol and that prize would be extremely appealing for many clubs in Europe.

Pellistri is 18 years old, plays as an attacking midfielder and can also play through the right wing.
