Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has switched the club’s attention to signing Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois after cooling interest in Manchester United ace David De Gea. De Gea, 27, agreed to move to the Bernabeu in 2015 but his dream move collapsed on deadline day when Madrid failed to file the necessary paperwork in time. The Spaniard signed a new four-year deal with United the following week but speculation has persisted that he’s set to move to Los Blancos. However, according to the Independent, Madrid have given up hope of signing De Gea and are now focusing their efforts on signing Courtois.
