Rays ace Chris Archer was pulled in the first inning Saturday due to lateral forearm tightness in his pitching arm. Archer allowed a home run to the first two White Sox batters he faced before giving way to Austin Pruitt because of the discomfort in his arm. Archer, 28, has logged heavy innings in recent seasons. After eclipsing 200 innings in 2015 and 2016, he entered Saturday's game with 225 strikeouts in 179 1/3 innings.
