The troubled career of linebacker Rolando McClain came to a close Wednesday when the young linebacker announced his playing days are finished. The Ravens put out a statement that said the recently-signed free agent will be retiring, according to GM Ozzie Newsome. "Rolando let me know that he plans to retire from the NFL,” Newsome said in the statement “We have placed him on the Reserve/Retired list.” The 23-year old McClain had signed a one-year deal with the Ravens on April 12, but he ran into more off-the-field issues since then. He came to the Ravens after playing three years with the Raiders.
