Mariners DH/outfielder Raul Ibanez has had a pretty nifty season in 2013 and never was that more evident than on Saturday night against the Angels ... Like M's broadcaster Dave Sims said that's the 300th home run of Ibanez's career and that's also his 29th blast of 2013. That's significant because it ties the 1960 record of Ted Williams for most home runs in a season by a 41-year-old. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't think Ibanez was going to have much of a year. Last season he was good for nothing more than very occasionally taking advantage of the short right-field porch at Yankee Stadium.
