Thursday marks the deadline for NBA teams to sign free agents who are eligible to play in the post-season. It’s a day in which many contenders look to shore up their rotation with veterans who have been bought out by their previous teams, reaching an agreement to forfeit some original salary and hit the free-agent market. On Wednesday swingman Corey Brewer reached a buyout with the Los Angeles Lakers and has reportedly agreed to join the Oklahoma City Thunder; Joe Johnson and Brandon Wright signed with the Houston Rockets after the trade deadline following releases from their previous teams; the Philadelphia 76ers added veterans Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova via the buyout market. While there was much speculation the Raptors were active in the buyout market, Sportsnet’s Michael Grange reports it’s unlikely Toronto makes any changes to their roster.
