But in a season that’s gone off the rails in two cities, a season that’s slowly — and in some ways thankfully — coming to a conclusion, the intrigue level in a meaningless game was enhanced by the presence of Kyle Lowry and Jose Calderon in uniforms of opposing teams. It might not be a perfect situation — basketball remains a true team game — but logic suggested it would be the things fans wanted to talk about. “It’s natural,” Raptors coach Dwane Casey said Friday morning. “It’s human nature to look at it and see two players who were battling for the same position, and at the end of the day we made the decision we thought was best for our team.”
