Former Milan target Ralf Rangnick reportedly wants a return to coaching and has therefore terminated his contract with Red Bull by mutual consent.

The former RB Leipzig and Schalke 04 coach has agreed to terminate his contract with Red Bull one year early and La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the German wants a new job in a dugout, rather than behind a director’s desk.

Milan have been linked with Rangnick since the start of the year and Red Bull reportedly asked for an €8m compensation to let the director move to Italy.
