There were suggestions this week that Robert Griffin III might get another chance to start at quarterback this season, but it won’t come next week. Coach Jay Gruden didn’t feel the need to wait for a chance to review the film before deciding on the Redskins’ starter for their Week 14 game against the Rams. Gruden said after Sunday’s 49-27 loss to the Colts that Colt McCoy would start again. “Yes. I feel like he competed and did a good job out there. He came back and gave us a chance,” Gruden said in his post-game press conference. McCoy finished the day 31-of-47 for 392 yards and three touchdowns, one of which came as a result of some timely improvisation from McCoy under pressure before he found Logan Paulsen for a touchdown.
