The Rangers’ depleted defense corps got more bad news Friday. Marquee free agent addition Kevin Shattenkirk will have surgery on Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his knee, the club announced. He is out indefinitely. The 28-year-old defenseman has been playing through the tear all season, according to The Post’s Larry Brooks. “It’s tough,” Shattenkirk told reporters. “I think thinking about this year, you want everything to go perfectly. I think I’ve been trying to battle through this for a lot of reasons and when it came down to it … you have to think about yourself.”
