Texas left-handed starter Matt Harrison who had surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome on his left shoulder in 2009 is scheduled to have the same procedure for his right shoulder Monday. Harrison made just two starts this year for the Rangers because of back problems that led to a pair of surgeries. He said he started having some TOS symptoms on his right side about 2½ months ago experiencing some pain in his neck and collarbone and also losing some strength in his right hand. He said that if he were pitching he would have waited until after the season to have the procedure but since he's already shut down he decided to go ahead with it.
