Randy Moss announced his retirement from the NFL back in August of 2011 but made a respectable comeback during the 2012 season with the San Francisco 49ers catching 28 balls and 3 touchdowns. Although he hasn’t announced that he is re-retiring the news that he may be joining the soon-to-be-launched FOX Sports 1 in some capacity certainly makes it appear Moss has no immediate plans to return to the gridiron anytime soon. Sources tell Pro Football Talk that the enigmatic wide receiver is nearing a deal to join the fledgling network and the report states that Moss would become part of the panel of a show called “FOX Football Daily” where he would join Curt Menefee Jay Glazer Brian Urlacher and Ronde Barber. The PFT report further states that Moss may become part of Sundays’ coverage of NFL action on the network as well.
