The director of strength training and performance for the Los Angeles Rams, Ted Rath, has been mostly known by NFL fans as Head Coach Sean McVay’s “Get-Back” coach — keeping the excitable young coach from drifting in the referee’s way during plays.

Today comes news that Rath was charged with three counts of misdemeanor sexual battery. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department put out a statement explaining that the incident happened last June and after several investigations, Rath was taken into custody seven months later.

This morning, Ted Rath entered the plea of not guilty.
