Much to the chagrin of Bernie Kosar the Rams could be playing more of Kellen Clemens this week. Austin Davis started camp as the St. Louis Rams primary backup quarterback. This week after an underwhelming showing against the Browns in the preseason opener Davis will work as the third quarterback behind Kellen Clemens. Might want to tell Bernie Kosar not to watch. "Kellen had an opportunity to run around and make some plays there [against the Browns]" Fisher said after Monday's practice. "We had a couple breakdowns up front in fairness to Austin." Davis went 9-for-16 last week with 96 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. He averaged a Shurmur-esque six yards per attempt. The Rams snagged Davis as an undrafted rookie free agent last year. The Southern Mississippi product spent the year as the team's third quarterback but his work in the preseason last year was enough to make the Rams believers.
