Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo is expected to receive a hefty offer from the Atlanta Hawks, but he is reportedly focused on joining the Clippers for the coming season.

ESPN’s Frank Isola shared news of Rondo’s offers on Tuesday afternoon, noting that the 34-year-old guard could see a two-year, $15 million offer from the Hawks. From the Clippers, Rondo could see a mid-level deal.

The Clippers are a team that could use some help at the point guard position, and Rondo could be the right man for the job. He’d be a fine distributor for an offense consisting of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. With the Hawks, on the other hand, Rondo would likely be a reserve player behind Trae Young, who is emerging as a star in his own right.
