During the Week 2 match-up between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Pittsburgh Steelers, there was an incident. Allegedly, defensive end Maxx Crosby spit on guard Trai Turner. He was subsequently fined $6,971 for the incident, but he plans to appeal the decision.
According to a report from NFL’s Tom Pelissero, Crosby denies ever spitting on Turner. The suspension came the game, due to the fact that even referees from the match did not see the spitting itself. Turner, on the other hand, also got fined for shoving and spitting on Crosby in the fourth quarter of the game.
The full incident, according to the same report, came to Crosby on Friday. In it, it states that Turner pushed Crosby at an end of a Steelers play.
