The way defensive coordinator Jason Tarver sees it, a lot of players are auditioning for spots on the 2014 Raiders. Six starters -- defensive tackles Vance Walker and Pat Sims, defensive end Jason Hunter, cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Tracy Porter and free safety Charles Woodson -- are all signed to one-year contracts. Also, defensive end Lamarr Houston is in the final year of his original deal. Walker, Sims, Hunter and Houston have played more snaps than at any time in their NFL careers. Woodson, Porter and Jenkins have been full-time starters a year after battling injuries. "Who is going to push through because that's how you earn the contract they want, and that's how we find out who is going to fit in the future," Tarver said Thursday. "Who's going to finish it the right way?" Porter conceded his future with the franchise is "in the back of my mind" but that his main concern is playing San Diego on Sunday and then closing out the season against Denver.
