The Predators have re-signed forward Rich Clune to a two-year, $1.7 million contract extension that starts after the 2013-14 season. He will make $850,000 in both 2014-15 and 2015-16. Nashville picked up Clune off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings before the season, and he turned into a solid addition for the team. The 5-foot-10, 207-pound Clune added toughness to Nashville’s lineup, and a little bit of scoring with four goals and five assists in 47 games. He was also a plus-3, which was a solid feat on a team that had trouble both scoring and defending, especially near the end of the season.
