It's a year of transition for the Edmonton Oilers at centre, with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Shawn Horcoff on the go. One day this group of players could well lead the league in scoring. If that is to happen this year, Nugent-Hopkins will put up a point a game, and maybe more than that. Of course, all Oilers fans would love to see such a thing, but my own bet is more conservative, that for the first time RNH will lead the team in scoring, and that the team itself will score a lot more, but they will only take a solid step, not a giant step.
