Now that Kawhi Leonard has officially re-signed with the LA Clippers on a four-year, $176.3 million deal, the pressure is on for him to live up to his end of the bargain and lead them to their first NBA title in franchise history.

With Leonard likely to miss the majority of the 2021-22 NBA season after recently having undergone surgery to repair a partially torn ACL, the Clippers will probably have to wait until the 2022-23 season for Leonard to be back at full strength.

Once he does come back fully healthy, though, he will be back under the microscope as a man on a mission. It just all comes down to how motivated he’ll be and whether or not he can weather the storm and get this upstart Clippers squad where they want to be. Having said all this, let’s take a look at a few predictions for what Kawhi Leonard will accomplish for the Clippers over the next four years.

Kawhi Leonard will win multiple titles and NBA Finals MVPs with the Clippers

Now that Kawhi is set to finish out his playing career in LA, the objective is bring the Clippers their first title in franchise history. Now that he and Paul George will be leading the charge with a deep supporting cast at the helm, the Clippers are in prime position to win multiple NBA titles over the course of the next four years.

As arguably the most complete player in the game when at full strength, Leonard has the ability to take over the game on both ends of the floor and come through for his team in the clutch. As a two-time champion and NBA Finals MVP, Leonard has proven himself as one of the best pressure players in the game today. Now that he’s fully committed to making the Clippers a winner, Leonard will without question lead LA to multiple finals runs and earn himself a few more NBA Finals MVPs in the process of making history.
