Troubled former 49ers and Raiders lineman Aldon Smith is being sought by San Francisco police after they said Sunday that he “fled the scene” where officers had responded to a domestic-violence complaint. “Caller says her ex-boyfriend is beating her up….also hear: ‘No please. No please.’ … it’s an ongoing issue,” a San Francisco police dispatcher told officers around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. “The guy’s name is Aldon Smith.” San Francisco police said the victim had non-life-threatening injuries. “The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and was identified as professional football player Aldon Smith, a 28-year-old Oakland resident,” San Francisco police said. Officers arrived around 8:30 p.m. Saturday to a residence in the 600 block of Bush Street in San Francisco after receiving the report of a domestic-violence incident. The victim called police again, saying Smith bit her wrists and climbed out her window, possibly fleeing in a black Land Rover, according to dispatch audio reviewed by this news agency. The dispatcher said Smith was wearing a black 49ers sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. Around 7 p.m. Sunday, Smith posted a cryptic photo to his Instagram account, saying: “Wtfoh you all are wrong.” The photo is of a black pavement pathway. It’s unclear where the photo was taken.
