P.K. Subban is expected to meet with his agent, Don Meehan, on Monday in Toronto as the defenseman and the Montreal Canadiens continue to work toward some sort of resolution in the ongoing contract saga. According to Seth Gordon of the Globe & Mail, Meehan is expected to then get in contact with the team following the meeting with his client. It has been reported that Subban and the team are attempting to cross a vast philosophical divide, with the defenseman likely desiring a long-term contract similar to that signed by the Washington Capitals' John Carlson.
