Pitt sophomore cornerback Titus Howard was suspended for the entire 2014 season for disciplinary reasons, Panthers coach Paul Chryst announced today. Howard, a Clairton graduate, played in 11 games as a freshman last season, totaling 21 tackles and two pass breakups. He was projected as a starter for the Panthers this fall at cornerback opposite Lafayette Pitts. In his absence, junior Trenton Coles will likely start.
