The Penn State Nittany Lions play host to the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday afternoon, and the university is asking fans descending upon Beaver Stadium to inspect themselves and any gear for an invasive insect species currently wreaking havoc on the region.

Penn State is taking on a role in battling the ongoing and problematic infestation of spotted lanternflies, which have been spotted near Beaver Stadium and throughout Pennsylvania.
