Numerous sources in the Penguins organization made it clear on Friday that the team has no intention of trading struggling defenseman Kris Letang. Multiple reports in recent days have suggested that the Penguins are actively shopping the 30-year-old defenseman. While it wasn't confirmed that the Penguins would never listen to offer, it was made clear that general manager Jim Rutherford isn't shopping Letang and isn't interested in dealing him. Letang will miss his second consecutive game tonight against the Hurricanes with a lower-body injury. The injury isn't believed to be serious and Letang was seen working out with Sidney Crosby following the Penguins' optional morning skate at PNC Arena.
