The Penguins have activated goalie Matt Murray from injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday. He seems likely to make his return Thursday night when the Penguins play their first ever game against the Vegas Golden Knights, and could very well be going up against former goaltending partner Marc-Andre Fleury. Murray has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, which he sustained Nov. 27 against Philadelphia in a collision with Flyers winger Jakub Voracek. Murray returned to practice with the Penguins Saturday, and was a full participant in the team's morning skate before taking on the Avalanche Monday.
